To embroider your logo on to an item of clothing our embroidery machines need your logo converting into a .dst file. You might already have this, but if not we need to produce it for you.
A .dst file is the pattern that the machine follows to replicate your logo. Converting your logo into this file takes time and a certain amount of skill. Not only does the actual shape and design of your logo need to be converted but thread colours need to be blended to match the logo as closely as possible. Digitising will produce a pattern made up of 16 thread colours. We then have to manually match the 16 colours produced to actual physical thread colours.
To do this we just need a copy of your logo as a .jpeg, or PNG or AI file. We only need to produce the .dst file once. It is then available to use as many times as you require it.
